Lagos wary of bombings at places of worship
Abuja - The Lagos State Government has called for more security vigilance in churches and mosques to prevent attacks by terrorists.
The state government said the measure was necessary amid renewed attacks by the Boko Haram sect on religious institutions.
The State Commissioner for Ministry of Home Affairs, Abudul Hakeem Abdul Lateef, made the call during a meeting with religious leaders.
The event was part of efforts by the present administration to improve security consciousness of all residents.
