Weather disrupts Tinubu’s birthday as Osinbajo, Gbaja, SGF, Aregbesola, others make U-turn

The 69th birthday and 12th colloquium of All Progressives Congress leader, Bola Tinubu, was on Monday disturbed by bad weather, The PUNCH has learnt.  As a result, numerous dignitaries who were charged to travel to Kano by air were forced to form a U-turn. NAFDAC raises alarm on circulation of fake insulin tea for diabetic patients

T he National Agency for Food and Sedate Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has raised alarm on the circulation of fake ‘Insulin tea’ taken by Diabetic patients. In a statement released on Sunday, March 28 by the Director-General of the agency, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, cautioned against buying or taking the fake tea since of its negative health implications.  ''NAFDAC wishes to inform the public of the circulation of an unregistered and a fake product called insulin tea claimed to decrease blood sugar level and ‘delete’ sugar within the body.  Please note that the NAFDAC number appeared on the packaging of this product (Nafdac Reg. Mama Sarah Obama died at the age of 99, The grandmother of the former US president Barrack Obama

Her passing was affirmed by her daughter, Marsat Obama, who uncovered that her mother died at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Clinic, Kisumu at 4.45am on Monday, March 29. Sarah Obama had been conceded to the clinic on Sunday morning, due to a sickness but lost her battle with life within 24 hours later.  The family has reported they need her buried today (Monday) at the Muslim Cemetery in Kisumu. “We are attempting to see whether we might be able to bury her today and if not, we should bury her tomorrow,” a relative said.
